Project Manager – Architectural Fabrication
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 DOE

Orion is partnered with a well-established and respected architectural metalwork and fabrication company based in Bedfordshire. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in architectural fabrication, specifically in the delivery of projects involving balustrades, staircases, handrails, railings, façade panels, cladding systems, and associated bespoke metalwork.

Project Manager Responsibilities:
Managing multiple architectural fabrication projects from inception to completion

Leading all phases: design coordination, workshop fabrication, site installation, and commercial oversight

Interpreting and working from technical and CAD drawings

Close liaison with clients, architects, and contractors

Conducting regular site visits and managing installation teams

Coordinating internal teams and subcontractors to meet tight programme deadlines

Ensuring all works comply with quality, safety, and budgetary targets

Project Manager Experience:
Proven experience delivering architectural metalwork projects, especially:

Balustrades

Staircases (straight, helical, cantilevered)

Handrails and safety railings

Decorative and functional cladding panels

Bespoke architectural features

Strong understanding of fabrication processes and site installation constraints

Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects

Proficient in project programming and MS Office

Confident in client-facing roles and managing stakeholder expectations

Valid UK Driver's Licence

Right to work in the UK

Working Hours:Monday – Friday Core hours: 08:00 – 17:30
