This is a 6 month contract opportunity starting ASAP
Day to Day Tasks for the Project Manager
- You will be working on large projects across a leading retail client
- These projects will typically encompass IT systems, infrastructure, 'roll outs' application development and management, systems migration and service provision
- Need to understand the scope of works - review drawings, programmes, emails, not always clear
- Contact the appropriate suppliers to request quotes
- Prepare and submit quotes
- Update commercial register
- Produce purchase orders
- Schedule/invoice the works
- Check if completed, deal with issues/snags, revisits if necessary, re-quote if scope changes
- Works will be allocated to you/you will receive direct engagement once established
What are we looking for?
The successful Project Manager will have:
- Hands on Retail Project Management experience is essential
- Prince 2 accredited
- Works well under pressure
- Good stakeholder management
- Time management
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Be commutable to Milton Keynes
Working Hours
- You will be working Monday-Friday, 9-5 (flexibility will be required)
- The role will be a mixture of office based and remote working. You may need to travel to stores as and when required
What are the rates?
- The successful candidates will be paid up to £400 per day via an Umbrella company
This role has been assessed and deemed Inside IR35
