We have an amazing opportunity for a Project Mechanical Engineer to join one of the UK and Europe’s leading water services providers. Up to £42,000 pa + commission, Remote, depending on experience, Home based with travel, company car and excellent benefits.
The Project Mechanical Engineer will work with customers who need services, maintenance, technical assistance, spare parts, small (upgrade / refurbishment) projects and supply of modular equipment utilising the company’s core water products and technologies.
Working within the companies European Asset Care department the Project Mechanical Engineer will estimate and produce Asset Care proposals associated with the leads detected at existing customers or new customers. The primary focus of this role is modular solutions; including the development, supply, execution and production of modular units in co-construction within the region.
The Project Mechanical Engineer will ensure the relevance, profitability and safety of modular units in the design and execution phase; Integrate the delivery of modular solutions within the company’s workshops and / or find external partners. Work closely with the Service teams in the region and the commercial teams as needed for Asset Care development.
The Project Mechanical engineer will mainly work in the UK, with few potential Northern Europe journeys.
As and experienced Mechanical Engineer you will be Qualified to degree level; Mechanical Engineering and have proven experience in project management: planning, communication / discussions, budget, costing, reporting. You will have good technical skills in water and wastewater treatment and process water treatment. You will be customer focused and be able to work with a wide variety of stakeholder. As a Project Mechanical Engineer you will need to have excellent time management skills, be able to work autonomously and as part of wider team.
