Job Role: Project Controls Manager

Salary: �55,000 - �65,000 + Benefits package

Location: Midsomer Norton

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? If so, my client is looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager with experience within the water sector covering multiple Water Frameworks. Their projects range in value from �5k to �15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting their valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

About the role:

As a Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for leading the project controls function within the company. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement project controls processes and systems.

Your role will involve managing project schedules, cost control, risk management, and performance reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

  • Project Planning
  • Risk management
  • Cost and change control
  • Governance, reporting, and lessons learned

About you

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a project controls manager or planning manager
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Expert Knowledge in in P6, Microsoft Project, Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Thorough knowledge of NEC contracts.

Desirable:

  • Water / utilities industry experience
  • Experience in the engineering or construction industry.
  • APM project management qualification (or similar)
