We have a great opportunity for an experienced Regeneration Programme Manager to join our client's regeneration and build team within the local Borough Council, where you will play a pivotal role in revitalising and transforming the community's urban landscape. You will oversee a variety of projects aimed at enhancing public spaces, developing new housing and regenerating key areas to foster economic growth and community wellbeing.Duties and responsibilities:Managing an number of externally funded programmes ensuring they are delivered against regeneration objectives and proceduresWorking in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team of stakeholdersTendering for and managing Consultants, ensuring projects are supported with a professional and cost effective team including securing planning and consentsLeading on the client side to include liaising with Architects and ContractorsLeading on contractual negotiations in partnership with the legal and property teams and other external experts where necessaryMonitoring of onsite works and liaison with all contractors working on the projectsContributing to writing and submission of funding bids which support the delivery of regeneration programmesMaintaining concise financial records and risk registers of the projects to include cash flowsSkills and experience required:Degree educated desirableProgram management, Economic Development and Business experienceHeritage/Conservation, Project Management or construction related qualification is desirableExperience of working in a similar role project managing property development projects and/or capital regeneration schemesEffective delivery of capital and revenue elements of a project involving commercial buildings, town centre and historic buildings restoration and regenerationDelivering external funding bidsExperience of town centre management and community/stakeholder engagementExperience of developing co-operative working relationships with internal and external officers and partners, including elected members and public bodies to support the achievement of service objectivesFull current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposesAvailable for ad-hoc evening and weekend workingWhat's in it for you?Salary up to £46,500 plus 25 days holidays and option to purchase holidays, free parking, pension and Employee Assistance Programme
