We are urgently seeking Primary School trained teaching staff, for a multitude of roles in Pocklington and the surrounding areas. Are you a qualified Primary Teacher seeking your exciting new role for the your academic year, all with a better work life balance?
Working with Teaching Personnel will pass you the freedom to remain flexible in your work. You will have access to your own diary where you will stand capable of deciding whenever you're available to work. This can be changed as frequently as required.
The ideal candidate will stand willing to work on a full-time basis, meanwhile enthusiastic about getting involved in school’s extra-curricular activities. Ideally you will remain available 3 – 5 days per week with access to your own transport, and remain happy to travel up to 30 minutes. The sooner you can be available to us, the better, as we receive bookings every day from schools desperately needing teachers. 
Key responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of current KS1/KS2 curriculum
• Strong classroom behaviour management skills
• Offer emotional support to children who keep struggling throughout COVID
• Demonstrates a personal commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and rights of young people
• Implement the aims, policies and stated ethos of the school
• Enflame imaginations and creativity through lessons and play
• Sense of humour, good listener, bright and positive outlook
You will need to possess recent and relevant experience in teaching across the KS1/KS2 curriculum, including a sound knowledge of phonics and schemes such as ‘Jolly Phonics’. You must also possess a passion for teaching and remain invested in making a positive impact on the lives of young people, and supporting pupils that may not be school ready.
Essential requirements 
• PGCE or QTS qualification
• Prior experience of teaching in the Early Years
• Available between 3-5 days a week
• Able to provide a 6-year carer history
• Provide 2 reputable references
• UK resident
• SEN knowledge
• UK driving license

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
