Role Name: Powerscale SpecialistLocation: RemoteDuration: 6 monthsPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Must-Have Skills:Networking - PowerScale - DesignNetworking - PowerScale - ImplementationPowerScale - AdministrationNice-to-Have Skills:NetApp experienceJob Overview:The PowerScale Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation process of PowerScale platforms, with a focus on design, implementation, and administration.Day-to-Day Tasks:Remote Engagement:Collaborate with the team on remote engagements, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of the PowerScale platform.Design & Implementation:Design new setups and perform significant upgrades to existing PowerScale clusters.Develop implementation plans based on configuration testing.Certification:Perform certification of new code and features within the LAB environment.Conduct security assessments and address any related questions or concerns.Testing & Proof of Concept:Carry out proof of concept work and performance testing to ensure optimal performance.Documentation Maintenance:Maintain and update technical "How-To" guides and design documents to reflect new features or implementation changes.Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and transition, addressing technical issues promptly.Skills and Expertise Required:Delivery Specialist: Expertise in unstructured data platforms, particularly PowerScale and, preferably, NetApp.Networking Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with networking concepts in relation to PowerScale solutions.Security Acumen: Ability to investigate, test, and address security-related concerns during the design and implementation phases.Performance Optimisation: Experience in proof of concept development and performance testing to ensure robust solutions.
