Role: - QC Manager (Pharmaceutical/Nutraceuticals) Location: - Northwest England
Salary: - £45-55,000
Hours: - Monday-Thursday (8-5pm), Friday (8-1pm) Benefits:- Company Pension, 25 days holidays plus BH (increasing with service), Life Assurance (3 x base salary), discretionary bonus, Cycle to Work Scheme & Free Parking

Russell-Taylor has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QC Manager to join a fast growing Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical manufacturing company in the Northwest who have ambitious plans for company expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the QC laboratories and its functions (release of raw materials, finished products, stability, and method validation)
  • Work in close collaboration with other departments to enable management of various projects
  • Ensure all instrumentation is calibrated. Having knowledge/experience of HPLC would be beneficial
  • Work to GMP standards
  • Provide technical support to the QC team and produce KPIs to help observe performance.
  • Ensure good house keeping of the laboratory area

The Person

  • BSc in Science related role or equivalent
  • Industry experience in Food, Pharma or Medical Devices
  • Line management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Experience in HPLC or ICP would be advantageous
  • Experience of test method validation and managing stability programs (desirable)
  • Knowledge of EU quality related pharma and food regulations (desirable)
