Job Title:  Personnel Co-ordinator

Location: Burnley , Lancashire

Job Type: Permanent, Office based (with some remote and flexible working available)

Hours: Mon - Fri - 40 hours 

Our client based in Burley is looking for an exceptional personnel co-ordinator  to join their friendly team .

Duties include :


      Undertaking a range of resourcing activities including, checking right to work in the UK, collating data and processing visa applications for various countries


Type and proofread documents, correspondence, and reports.

Processing documentation relating to site personnel.

Manage global travel arrangements and in-country personnel logistical requirements.

Focal point for travel providers, coordinate accommodation, travel and organise any other logistical requirements for project personnel. Ensuring the best and most cost-effective travel options are selected so that commercial margins for mob/demob fees are achieved.

Prepare project assignment conditions, travel letters and any other travel or project information.

Support the project team with cost tracker accuracy and finance with accurate payroll information.

Dealing with any associated payroll queries and re-directing queries to HR or payroll as necessary.

Validate and approve offshore personnel timesheets and expense claims, recording expense claims for project approval. 

Raising purchase orders and validating costs.

Participate in out of hours on-call rota and participate in the department and emergency on-call response rota.

Liaising with site personnel and travel agents to organise travel plans and hotel accommodation globally.

Dealing with staff queries daily.

Identifying training requirements and booking the relevant courses.

Assisting with other duties as required.

The Person:


      Excellent communicator both written and verbal


Experience of visa applications preferably Work visas/Permits/Residencies

Excellent planning, organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.

Good Administrative skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages
