We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Personal Advisor to join a dynamic Leaving Care Team in Warrington. This role will focus on supporting young people, including asylum seekers, as they transition out of the care system and into adulthood.
Contract: 3-6 months (potential for extension)

Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support to care leavers, ensuring their needs are met in line with statutory guidelines.
- Engage in direct work with young people and the key figures in their lives.
- Participate in the office-based duty system, assisting with urgent cases.
- Promote the safety and protection of children and young people, with a focus on preventing exploitation.
- Facilitate community-based activities to enhance young people's independence and integration into adult life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and attend relevant meetings, training, and functions.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Leaving Care Service.
To be considered for the Personal Advisor role, ideally you will have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Care of Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role working with vulnerable children and young people.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable, though not essential.
