The Pastry Junior Sous Chef role:
The Pastry Junior Sous Chef is an integral part of the Pastry Kitchen, serving La Dame de Pic, Rotunda, Room Service, Banqueting, Member Club and all in-house Amenities. This position will work closely with the Pastry Sous Chef and Head Pastry Chef to supervise and oversee the Pastry Team in the preparation and production of all desserts and pastry items and maintain the smooth running of the operation.
The ideal Pastry Junior Sous Chef will have:
Must have at least 2 years experience as a?Pastry Chef de Partie in a similar environment
Oral and written fluency in English
A good understanding and practical knowledge of pastry
Working knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and COSHH
Food Hygiene qualification (CIEH or equivalent)
Commitment to teamwork and good communication skills
Passion for the Pastry world required
