Days: Monday - Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Start Date: September
Contract: Temp to Perm
Post Objective: To provide pastoral support across a multitude of areas for students within your year/house cohort. Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to pupils including DSL responsibilities.
A forward-thinking Secondary School are looking to appoint a motivated, independent and hardworking individual to fill the post of Pastoral Manager. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proactive interest in education and a desire to support the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.
Main Duties:
Manage and supervise pupils excluded from and / or otherwise working to modified timetable.
Provide advice to pupils relating to their social, health, hygiene and emotional development needs.
Undertake comprehensive assessments of pupils to determine those in need of particular help.
Assist the teacher with the development and implementation of individual education/behaviour/support/mentoring plans.
Take a lead role in the provision of support for pupils with special needs.
