Part-time SEND Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a talented Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in the Bramhall area of Stockport on a part-time basis.

About the Role:

• Position: Primary School Teaching Assistant
• Location: Bramhall area, Stockport
• Employment Type: Part-time
• Start Date: Immediate

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements. Your role will involve supporting the class teacher, working one-on-one or in small groups, and ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children with SEND in their academic, social, and emotional development
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Providing tailored support to individual pupils or small groups
• Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a primary school setting
• Experience working with children who have SEND requirements
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
