JOB TITLE: Operations Coordinator
LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset
HOURS: 37.5 hrs, Monday-Friday
SALARY: £26,000
BENEFITS: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays with annual leave days increasing by 1 per year capping at 25 , Pension Contribution, Benefits platform with various benefits available, Employee Assistance Programme, Death in service benefit and free on-site parking.

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for providing a high level of support to the manufacturing teams at Bridgwater and one other site located in North Somerset. You will be required to travel to the North Somerset site occasionally therefore you must be a driver.
Following up with all internal and external suppliers for an update on manufacturing activity (stores, design, purchasing teams) ensuring parts are kitted correctly to meet the required specification and are in their designated location on-time
Collecting manufacturing date and creating a KPI scorecard for manufacturing area performance
Working as part of a team to help resolve issues raised by the manufacturing build reams around parts availability, supplier delays, specification errors and amending internal work instructions to reflect changes as they occur
Supporting the manufacturing supervisor daily to progress chase, look at resource issues and network across the business
Providing cover for the manufacturing supervisor at resource planning meetings when required
Compiling and providing drawing packs and machine build documentation prior to the start of build
Liaising with the project leaders on progress and target setting for project based activities
Travelling in the companies vehicle to pick up parts that are urgently required when required
Providing all other administration support to the operations direction when requiredTHE CANDIDATE:
Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages is essential along with experience of SAGE and MRP software
Ability to understand/read technical drawings
Strong organisational and communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
