SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager
The position will be based from home and you will utilise your time across branch network and customers with best effect to establish and manage the relationships needed to deliver sales growth and profitability to the company.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for securing, maintaining and driving sales growth of National Account customers. Building relationships with key contacts, identifying and maximizing opportunities through the use of strategic planning and the setting of customer objectives.
Hitting all key performance indicators, Sales and Margin targets.
Adhering to company policies and procedures to achieve sales margin and growth.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -
- Manage a set of National Accounts to deliver all sales and margin targets set across the portfolio.
- Establish and deliver Strategic Objectives set per client
- Define rules of engagement for all customers and ensure full delivery against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Be a point of escalation for all National Account queries.
- Work with branch and customer local contacts to ensure consistency in UK wide service delivery.
- Proactively encourage and manage all relevant customer complaints through to resolution and to establish root cause
- Support the capture of customer satisfaction and work with NAD to deliver service quality improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in customer portfolio.
- Provide support to National Account Director in delivering set objectives
- Work with the Operations team department heads and senior management to get the best performance from employees
- Support development and implementation of policies and procedures
KEY SPECIALIST SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:-
- Experience in Truck and Trailer markets (not essential)
- Proven sales skills.
- Proven track record in achieving performance targets.
- Proven experience in managing large corporate and complex customers.
- Ability to communicate at all levels (both oral and written).
- Proven customer interface skills
- Numerically and statistically proficient
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Planning and organisation.
- Effective internal and external networker.
- Team player.
