Music Teacher (Maternity Cover) - January 2025 Start

Location: South London

Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover

Salary: MPS/UPS (ECTs Welcome)

TimePlan Education are working with a large and dynamic academy in South London, renowned for its cutting-edge technology and innovative approach to learning. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in January 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to join a forward-thinking school with a strong commitment to academic excellence and the arts. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Music at BTEC and GCSE (KS4) levels, inspiring students to excel in their musical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

Prepare students for BTEC and GCSE assessments, ensuring progress and achievement.

Collaborate with the school's vibrant arts department and integrate technology into music education where possible.

Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to explore their musical talents.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).

Have experience teaching Music at KS4 level, including BTEC and GCSE.

Be passionate about music education and able to motivate and engage students.

Be confident using technology in the classroom.

Newly qualified teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
