You will be working for a large national manufacturing company who are industry leaders in their field, with a site based in Launceston. They are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your engineering career as a Maintenance Engineer. The role is hands-on and fast paced, requiring you to carry out duties with respect to preventative maintenance schedules. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will support the maintenance team in carrying out typical maintenance activities. Day to day you will work on preventative and breakdown maintenance and feed back reports, ensuring that any parts required are identified and sourced through the engineering stores. You will ensure that all maintenance activities meet the required quality standards and adhere to health and safety standards/
What you need to know:
The shifts will be 4 on and 4 off (2 x 12-hour day shifts followed by 2 x 12-hour night shifts) with the site based in Launceston.
What you'll need to succeed

• Apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or similar related engineering fields to ONC or equivalent NVQ.
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance position, an mechanical bias is preferred but not essential
• Experience within a manufacturing business
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
