Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? Our client, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the effective and efficient repair and maintenance of machinery and facilities.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment availability and efficiency
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND)
