Multi-Skilled Engineer – Mobile Role (Northwest Region)
A leading national facilities management company is currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mobile role covering the Northwest region, including Manchester, Stockport, Chester, Stoke, and Derby.
Working Hours:

* Monday – Friday

* 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required)

* Company vehicle and fuel card provided

* No on call – Overtime available

Role Summary of a Multi Skilled Engineer:

* Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues, ensuring resolution within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

* Deliver scheduled maintenance activities to a consistently high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations

* Carry out testing and diagnostics to identify power quality concerns

* Complete routine testing of emergency lighting systems and fire alarms

* Interpret and work from technical drawings, manuals, and O&M documentation

* Undertake installation work and system upgrades as needed

* Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with company standards

* Monitor site environmental conditions and evaluate the performance and load of essential equipment

* Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence

* Keep accurate records of all work completed, including site logs and maintenance documentation

* Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the role

Qualifications & Experience:

* 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification

* Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), including fault finding and basic operations

* Facilities management experience preferred

* Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH) desirable
