Mobile Smoke Ventilation Engineer

Smoke Ventilation Engineer -� Mobile - Temp to perm - FM Service Provider - East London
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently hiring for a Smoke Ventilation engineer on a mobile basis. The engineer will be covering multiple high end residential�properties around East�London. The role involves maintaining, testing, and repairing Smoke ventilation systems. The engineer will identify and address faulty systems, ensuring durability and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Smoke Ventilation systems
• Provide customer service in line with British Standards
• Work from schematics and fault-find
• Collaborate with on-site teams (Concierge, Property Managers, etc.)
• Complete reports, timesheets, and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with smoke venting and fire alarm standards (BS5839, BS7436)

Hours of work / Rate / contract details

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday
• 7:30am - 4pm on Friday
• Immediate start
• up to �220 per day ( umbrella or CIS )
• Call out available�
• �160 allowance per month towards fuel or travel costs�
• Van Mobile and foot mobile positions available�

Requirements:

• must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in smoke ventilation maintenance�
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
• Knowledge of BS5839, BS5266, BS7671
