Monday - Friday Day hours

I'm currently working with a meat processing facility in Bedford, looking for an Engineer to join their small team due to expansion. The site is commutable from Milton Keynes, Biggleswade, Huntingdon, Northampton, Bedfordshire.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Looking for an Electrically biased engineer, the role is a mix of mechanical and electrical work
  • Have a couple of engineers who work in a few departments, some work in specific departments
  • Carrying out reactive breakdowns
  • Planned in maintenance - PPM schedule
  • Team is Engineering Manager, 3x Engineers, 2x Maintenance Assistants, 1x Administrator/ Purchaser
  • Fault finding and diagnosis
  • Liaising with production to ensure machine problems are fixed

To be considered for this position you will be a maintenance engineer who has experience within food or the manufacturing industry, ideally they are looking for someone to come with electrical qualifications.
