Job Description: M&E Building Services Manager

Salary: �75,000 - �85,000 per annum
Location: Central London

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a 2-year commercial fit-out project in Central London, working with a top-tier contractor in the industry.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced M&E Building Services Manager to take charge of the mechanical and electrical services for a major commercial fit-out project. The role is primarily based in Central London, with occasional work in West London, and requires a candidate with a proven background in M&E building services management. This position will be critical in ensuring that the mechanical and electrical aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage the M&E building services for a large commercial fit-out project.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of all M&E works.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.

Technical Oversight:

• Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems are installed, commissioned, and functioning as per design specifications.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the project and provide expert solutions.

Contract and Stakeholder Management:

• Oversee on-site operations, conducting regular inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures.
• Collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure client requirements are met or exceeded.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety measures are implemented throughout the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in managing M&E building services within large-scale commercial fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to oversee installation and commissioning processes.
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards within the construction and M&E sectors.

• Competitive salary of �75,000 - �85,000 per annum.
• 2-year project commitment with a Tier 1 M&E contractor.
• Based mainly in Central London with some work in West London.
