A leading name in UK construction is launching a landmark high-rise residential project in Royal Tunbridge Wells — and they’re looking for a Logistics Manager to take full control of site operations. This is your chance to join a reputable main contractor known for delivering high-spec homes across the country.
🎯 Your Mission
Be the engine room of the build. From deliveries to labour, skips to lifting operations — you’ll coordinate all logistics to keep the site running smoothly and safely, every day.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
🔄 Deliveries & Access
Operate and manage the Delivery Management System (DMS)
Coordinate all site deliveries and traffic management
Schedule vehicle movements and oversee gatekeeping
🗑️ Waste & Housekeeping
Manage all waste removal and skip operations
Enforce clear-up notices with subcontractors
Ensure a clean, compliant working environment
👷 Labour Coordination
Oversee gatemen, marshalls, FLT drivers, general labourers, and trades
Arrange additional site staff as needed
Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks
📸 Site Admin & Reporting
Maintain photo records and notice logs
Liaise with QS teams on contra charges
Attend site meetings and ensure documentation is up to date
🏗️ Logistics Oversight
Manage lifting plans and welfare facilities
Drive logistics strategy and H&S compliance across the board
🎓 What You’ll Bring
✅ SSSTS or SMSTS
✅ First Aid certification
✅ CSCS Card
💻 Strong IT and admin skills
🔧 Proven logistics/site coordination experience on major builds
