My client is searching for a Legal Cashier to join their team based in Bexleyheath, Kent.
This is fantastic opportunity with a well-regarded law firm with a rich history dating back over 125 years.
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
• Dealing with emails and phone calls from all our offices
• Processing transactions on our accounting software SOS
• Processing the client receipts and updating the relevant client ledger
• Processing client bills, credit notes and write offs
• Processing client to office payment transfers
• Processing client payments
• Inputting and authorising payments via our online banking portal
• Taking card payments from clients
• Preparation of daily bank reconciliations as required
• Various other duties as required.
The Candidate:
• Some legal cashier experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SOS accounting software or similar would be an advantage
• Numerate
• A courteous and co-operative attitude
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work in a small team environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Solicitors Accounts Rules knowledge would be an advantage
• Microsoft Office/Excel knowledge
Hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday in the office (with a one hour break for lunch).
