As the Lead Video Editor / Social Video Team Manager, you will oversee the acquisition, curation, and distribution of UGC for our social media platforms. You will manage a team of social Video Editors, ensuring that UGC aligns with our brand vision, engages our audience, and contributes to key growth metrics. Your role will involve close collaboration with creators, influencers, and the broader content team to amplify UGC in innovative and impactful ways.

What you’ll do:
Lead and manage a team responsible for sourcing, curating, and editing UGC for all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat).
Develop and implement a strategy to scale UGC initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand values and social media goals.
Build relationships with content creators, influencers, and online communities to acquire high-quality UGC.
Oversee video content review, ensuring it meets our quality standards, guidelines, and brand tone.
Collaborate with the sourcing and content teams to integrate UGC into broader campaigns and social strategies.
Work on ad hoc projects for the wider team, providing your expertise in video editing and motion design to support various creative initiatives.
Track and analyse UGC performance to inform content decisions and optimise for engagement, reach, and conversions.
Stay updated with the latest UGC and social media trends to continually evolve our approach.
Mentor and develop the skills of team members, providing feedback and training on best practices in UGC content curation, editing, and platform optimization.
Ensure compliance with content usage rights, permissions, and relevant legal considerations for UGC.

What we are looking for:
Expertise in Video Editing: Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, with a deep understanding of social media content style, pacing, and formats.
Familiarity with content usage rights and legal guidelines related to UGC.
Proven track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality, engaging social content.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for video content.
Skilled at telling compelling stories through video, focusing on content that resonates with the audience.
Experience working with creators, influencers, and online communities.
Ability to analyse content performance and pivot strategies based on data insights.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

We operate on a hybrid model, working from the Shoreditch office in London on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Please only apply if you are able to commute to our office for this role.
