Junior Application Architect
Overview:
Our client, a leading financial services corporation that operates globally is hiring a Junior Application Architect to provide technical design / solution architecture proactively and holistically across our clients complex IT estate.
The ideal candidate will have the desire / passion to move into a technical architecture position with a background in software development with the ability to understand APIs (.net, Java, SQL) as our client moves from on premise into cloud (Azure). Our client is looking to pay a basic salary of £54,000 + 15% bonus with hybrid working in Chatham / Wolverhampton.
The Junior Application Architect will act as the technical bridge between TDA / Enterprise Architecture, internal development teams, external technology vendors and business stakeholders, driving improvements within our clients application landscape to support business objectives and goals.
Role Responsibilities:
Take ownership of Application Architecture to support our clients Enterprise Architecture function (utilising LeanIX and other tooling).
Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to work on GDPR programs, application upgrades, and strategy road mapping.
Assisting with Lean IX for application tracking.
Being an integral part of the team involved in application upgrades and modernisation projects.
