As the Mechanical Engineer you will be
Understanding a problem and creating concepts
Building proof-of-principle test rigs in our laboratory to demonstrate a solution
Prototyping and testing
Design for manufacture and assembly
Reporting on work and presenting to clients
Involvement in taking new opportunities and developing them into business opportunities
A first or upper second BEng/MEng degree in engineering from a leading university and excellent A-levels including maths
A higher degree or additional engineering experience would be beneficial
An enthusiasm for innovation and the tenacity to succeed
The ambition to grow your career with a rapidly expanding company

Role - Gas Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a family run business located in Cambridgeshire. Your new company are well established with over 50 years experience in the heating industry. They have been busier than ever recently and are looking to expand their team with the recruitment of a Gas Engineer to work with their existing team.
You will be working within private clients' properties inspecting, servicing, installing and repairing a wide variety of gas boilers and heating systems. You will be working within a small team of dedicated engineers.
The perfect candidate for this role will:
*Be City and Guilds qualified or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating.
*Have obtained CCN1.
*Be Gas Safe Registered.
*Have a minimum of 2 years' experience post qualification.
*Have experience working alone or in a team.
*Be flexible in your approach to work.
*Have great communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Be willing to go the extra mile for the client.
*Be safe, clean and conscientious in their work.
