Internal Recruiter, Award Winning Hospitality/Events Company, London Based, up to £37,000pa

An exciting opportunity for an experienced in house recruiter to join a hospitality/events company based in London. This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys the full end to end recruitment process, and likes the variety of recruiting for a range of roles from corporate head office positions to sales, front of house and hospitality (chefs, kitchen porters etc)

  
Overview of the role:
 
   ·   To enable etc people to deliver business results by recruitment of the best people, improving
       their knowledge, skills and abilities and ensuring that they are managed, motivated and
       deployed effectively to add value to the organisation.
 
   ·   To contribute to and assist in implementing and delivering an effective Human Resources
       (People) strategy which ensures adherence to employment law, company policies and
       procedures and staff engagement and welfare, which enable employees to deliver the
       company's vision.
 
   ·   To develop and implement effective recruitment and practice, policy and procedures to
       support the development of high performing teams.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
   ·   Responsible for end to end recruitment and selection functions across all venues
       (interviewing, assessment, devising selection processes, drafting job descriptions,
       advertisements and offer letters).
   ·   Liaising with agencies and coordinating reference checks, pre-employment medicals, visas and
       work permits.
   ·   Working in partnership with local learning institutions to engage interns and organise work
       experience.
   ·   Ensuring that recruitment and selection procedures and practice meet operational needs,
       legislative and good practice requirements.
   ·   Placing advertisements on selected hosts and plan and coordinate open days.
   ·   Conducting initial screening of CVs and conduct initial telephone interviews.
   ·   Working with managers to develop the recruitment process, including interview guidelines
       and a standard questionnaire to establish whether the non-negotiable skills and experience
       have been demonstrated by the applicant.
   ·   Ensuring that all job descriptions and organisational charts are in place and remain current
       and accurate.
   ·   To advertise new roles internally and update the Careers webpage on a regular basis
   ·   To manage the administration of all recruitment records, ensuring that these are complete,
       accurate and up-to-date.
   ·   To conduct exit interviews and complete the leaver process.
  ·    To manage compliance with the Data Protection Act with respect to the storage of, access to
       and destruction of personal data.
