We're looking for an experienced Workshop Controller from all kinds of backgrounds. You will be an integral part of our team as a Workshop Controller and will be responsible for managing the productivity of the workshop.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Workshop Controller
Overseeing the Workshop to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Overseeing the Vehicle Technicians and assigning them to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximized and that deadlines are adhered to.
Incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resources of your team.
Performance management, coaching and development of the team.
Ensure workshop processes and procedures are adhered to.
Ensure customer satisfaction is met and compliance adhered to.
Skills Requirements of the Workshop Controller
Previous experience in a similar role.
Experience of managing a team of Vehicle Technicians.
Be able to work efficiently under pressure ensuring customers cars are completed within agreed time scales.
To be confident, with a strong understanding of workshop processes and how to get the best from a team.
Qualification and Experience of the Workshop Controller
The Workshop Controller must have strong technical knowledge.
Full UK/EU Driving License.
Shift / Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 17:00pm
