We are looking for an experienced Social Worker (SW) to join the Court and Locality Team in North West England. This is a Locum Social Work role and we need your expertise to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

The ideal candidate for the social work position will have 2 years minimum experience within a Local Authority/2 years experience in court work. The ideal candidates will have experience in complex child in need and child protection cases. The candidates will be based within the Court and Locality Team but will be taking cases from Duty and Assessment.

Urgent permanent requirement for 3 mechanical bench fitters. The work is heavy duty in nature involving the use of a variety of hand tools, such as wrenches, spanners, screwdrivers, socket sets, torque wrenches etc. Typically this would suit a heavy duty mechanic or plant fitter. The work is similar in nature to rebuilding gearboxes or heavy duty pumps.

This company invest considerable time and training in bringing staff up to speed and so are looking for applicants seeking a long term career position. Applicants must have several years relevant experience and have their own hand tools. More specialised tools are supplied by the company.

Standard hours are 8.00 till 5.30 with the opportunity of an earlier start to do overtime.

Due to high work loads this position could be a very quick start for the right candidate. A temp to perm option will be considered but ultimately the requirement is for a permanent person.
