Our client has a number of contracts approaching expiration, hence the need for an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to work with the procurement team to audit the current ongoing contracts. The IT Procurement Specialist will be responsible for understanding when those contracts are due to expire and assisting the Procurement team in creating a robust plan to drive procurement in the organisation going forwards.

You will need to understand the market and technical requirements that people have for networks, voice and data etc. The main output for this role will be to create a draft to take to market for a RFP. Our client is looking to recruit an IT Procurement Specialist to lead a request for proposal.

This contract is an initial 1 month engagement, with the possibility of an extension. Our client is based in Wakefield but given the current circumstances this role will be entirely remote with a competitive Day Rate on offer.
