Store Manager

Jobs in Weymouth,Weymouth and Portland,Dorset,South West England

 Permanent
Posted about : 2 days ago
 Expires in: a month

To call our Store Managers the face of our business is an understatement. They're our heartbeat. Our lifeblood. The ones who make things happen and you'll do just that as you drive sales, ensure the very best customer service, make sure we're fully stocked up with all the products we need, and, most importantly, that our people are happy and know what they need to do.  Heading up your own team, you'll make sure their product knowledge is in tip-top shape, and that their understanding of what every customer needs is second to none. Naturally, you'll be supported every step of the way, but your store is your own – yours to take accountability for and be proud of. (Just leave the décor to us. That's our bag.)  It's fast paced. It's hands on. And it's certainly not for the faint hearted. It takes a certain kind of ‘amazing' to work here. But if you care about helping people as much as we do, you'll love learning all about what it takes to help every customer (and every colleague) who walks through our doors. If you've got prior management experience, great. If you're looking to take a step up, we'll teach you everything you need to know. Our unique induction programme ensures that you will be provided with everything you need to succeed in the role and grow with the company. Within your first six weeks with the company, you will spend three weeks at our Store Support Centre in Nuneaton, going through our accredited product-training programme and our Operations Management course. Both of these are design to equip you with all the product knowledge and operational knowhow to equip you to run a Holland & Barrett store. You will then spend another three weeks in one of our amazing stores of excellence, working alongside an experienced Store Manager putting all of your new knowledge into practice, before starting at your very own store. When it comes to specialist health and wellbeing retailers, we're number one. The biggest in Europe. We've over 1,000 stores (and more on the way) in almost every major city and town across the UK and Ireland – not to mention more than 80 stores around the world too. It's big scale stuff. And you could be part of it all
