Kerr Recruitment is operating on behalf of our client, an international IT company, is seeking to appoint a French speaking Technical Support Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with technical questions or problems.

Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday and 8am - 3pm on a Friday

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical issues and product questions in English and French via phone, email, chat or web request.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues; escalate complex problems accordingly
  • Developing and maintaining files of correspondence and other technical support records using CRM system.
  • Be proactive and manage logistical issues such as RMA for focus products.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Ideal candidate would have:

  • Fluency in English and French to business standards (verbal and written).
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems & Hardware experience
  • Working knowledge of Computer Networks and a proficient knowledge of PC Architecture
  • A minimum of 1 year's previous experience in providing second level technical support by phone
  • A keen interest in computer gaming and gaming peripherals

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing, planning and budgeting of the allocated channel marketing fund for EMEA

  • Identifying new marketing opportunities and trials; assessing new, unique marketing methods.
  • Managing, developing and motivate the team.
  • Managing relationships with various external agencies.
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate would have:

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Any additional European language would be a plus
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing role, preferably within the IT industry
  • Minimum 2-year management experience
  • Good understanding of peripheral products
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good planning, research and analytical skills
  • Advance skills in using MS Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in budget management
