Teaching Assistant - academic catch-up support

We are supporting a two-form entry, Oldham-based primary school in recruiting a Teaching Assistant to assist pupils with academic catch-up. This is a full-time role with an immediate start following the lockdown, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis (typically 16 weeks) this role could become permanent and you may be offered a school contract, should the pupils still require support.

The school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to aid pupils in KS2 who require small group support and 1:1 support throughout the curriculum. To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils who require academic interventions; have strong language and literacy skills; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels and a clear understanding of phonics.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have experience with the KS2 curriculum
  • Have delivered academic interventions or booster sessions
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK

This role will include:

  • Teaching pupils with developmental difficulties in reading and writing
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

They are a domiciliary care company with an outstanding CQC rating who provide over 8000 hours of care every month throughout Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. This role would be working with another Care Coordinator as part of a team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Provide advice and dossier compilation through Clinical Trials to ensure compliance with European and USA regulations and requirements.
  • Developing, and maintaining full regulatory applications including Orphan Designations and Market Authorisation Applications (MAAs) among others.
  • Coordinate with EMA, MHRA, FDA and other regulatory authorities.
  • Perform regulatory inspections.
  • Write clear, accessible product labels.
  • Serve as a technical expert in development of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) and advice colleagues in different situations.

The key requirements are:

  • More than 6 years of experience as Global Regulatory Affairs Director or Associate Director
  • , PhD., MBA in the biological, medical or chemical field will be an asset.
  • Expertise in biologics.
  • RAC Certification of equivalent will be beneficial.
  • Experience leasing with EMA, FDA and other regulatory agencies, in MAA / BLA submission and pre-IND / CHMP SA advice meetings regarding ATMPs.
