Duties include:

  • Spraying new and used vehicles
  • Preparing vehicle panels to be re-sprayed including filling, sanding, priming, wet and dry flatting, masking and detailing.

Skills required:

As a Vehicle Painter, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of spraying application and latest bodyshop repair techniques
  • ATA qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • Efficient at all times, able to meet targets and deadlines
  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety and legislation polices
  • Team player
  • Full UK/EU Driving Licence.

Qualification and Experience

The Ideal applicant will be able to produce a high quality of paint application from start to finish and you must have experience with water-based paints.

You will be an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer with a qualification or time served with 3 Years minimum experience and have your own air fed mask.

You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle paint application techniques.

Work environment

New modern workshop. Some tasks may be physically demanding although you will use lifting equipment to move heavy parts. You will be expected to wear safety clothing when using specialized equipment and carrying out certain tasks.
