2 key criteria that all applicants must meet:

  • Must have Kitchens or Bedrooms - furniture, components, related - experience.
  • Must know the KBB retailers, showrooms and studios and call on them.

There is no second-tier option, not able to consider candidates without the required experience.

The initial position is a Southern Ireland role, but if the right candidate could make it a national role.

Role open due to current person retiring. This is a succession plan.

You will be selling this company's range of Kitchen and Bedroom products to KBB retailers, studios and showrooms.

The position is immediately available, so the sooner the person can start the better, this way you can have most handover with the current incumbent.

Is the package suitable?

Basic salary of £37-40,000 (max £42,000 at a push)

OTE - for 2020 circa £60,000, in a typical year +£10-20,000 on top of the basic

Extremely successful client searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join there team in Belfast. The successful candidate will facilitate planning, procurement, supervision, data collection and storage in relation to Contaminated Land Investigation and Remediation works.

The role would suit someone with 4+ years experience working in contaminated land and remediation, with working knowledge of interpretive and environmental reports.

You will be working primary on large scale projects and will have the chance to take the lead on an interesting and varied workload.

Responsibilities/requirements:

Employed on a full-time basis with the need to satisfy overtime requirements and the need to regularly stay away from home overnight, key tasks and accountabilities are as follows:

Demonstrating a broad understanding of A+A Contaminated Land services/disciplines in multiple areas. May specialise in a particular service area or discipline and lead on this in the A+A Contaminated Land team

Producing comprehensive, technically robust interpretative reports with minimal input from senior staff.
Producing high value, complex proposals which demonstrate a solid understanding of the client's needs, drivers, environmental technicalities and solutions, and business risks to A+A, in a clear and systematic style.

Applicants should be qualified to Bachelor's Degree level in geology, environmental science, environmental chemistry or similar discipline. 4 or more years of Contaminated Land and Groundwater Project Management experience, in either a contracting or consulting organisation will be required and the post holders must have a full clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
