Role Overview

As a Retail Mobile Relief Security Officer at Cordant Security, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll be a key part of our team covering a range of sites within your area you will ensure the safety of our staff and customers and assets within their working environment, whilst providing excellent customer service. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It's a varied role where you will get to see a range of different sites, and may be asked to cover up to a 50 plus mile radius - the role will include acting as a visual deterrent, liaising with police and other emergency services, report writing along with internal/external patrols. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you could look forward to an interesting with exciting career opportunities.

A valid SIA license is essential for this role

We are seeking a Commercial Officer for our client MOD DIO based in Glasgow. This is an initial contract running until March 2021, paying up to £395/Day Inside IR35.

Role Profile:

  • Supporting DIO teams to create innovative procurement and commercial strategies that will deliver value for money on Infrastructure programmes and projects
  • Building trusted relationships with new and incumbent suppliers such that a "trust with consequences" approach to contract management can be operated
  • Monitoring and managing performance of suppliers against contract performance indicators
  • Supporting implementation of contract transition and mobilisation activities
  • Shaping and leading commercial negotiations with both new and incumbent suppliers through to a pre-defined acceptable conclusion
  • Giving strategic advice and support to contracts in procurement, contract exits and during contract reviews
  • Resolving high-value commercial and legal disputes with suppliers
  • Development of current and future commercial resource, including self, into an agile and appropriately skilled workforce

The Senior Test Engineer will be working in a fast-paced environment with cutting edge technologies while providing value across the business.

The successful candidate would implement and deliver test automation solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, development teams and delivery and industry partners. The Senior Test Engineer will have strong influential and leadership skills as well as a proven track record of working with automation tools and technologies. The candidate will have a technical approach to problem solving and will be familiar with Agile environments working with Continuous Integration pipelines with a developer mindset.

The successful candidate will be able to write, maintain and review test code, working alongside Developers and DevOps teams within a highly integrated environment. The candidate will ensure best practices are used as well as exploiting new industry leading technologies in order to effectively deliver testing projects.

Experience required

  • 3-5 years working in Test Automation
  • In depth Java coding and Java framework experience
  • Ability to build comprehensive test automation frameworks from scratch
  • Front-end automation tools such as Selenium web driver
  • Experience with BDD Test Automation using Serenity and Junit
  • Experience working with Cucumber and BDD frameworks
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as RestAssured
  • Build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle
  • CI/CD experience working with Git

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree qualified ideally within Computer Science

Senior Project Controller

Role Summary

We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Govan as a Quality Control Data & Systems Engineer.

The role will be an initial 6 month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for generating, maintaining and evolving data capturing techniques through digital methods and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure all documentation and records are in place for activities to be conducted.
  • Regulate all records to ensure correctly populated, received and stored in line with RDM regulations.
  • Compile and issue all relevant reports in a timely manner and maintain accurate records in the sited format.
  • Maintain all relevant completions management toolsets (tables, CME etc.)
  • Ensure the adequacy of records, reports, process templates & governing systems such as data tables etc.
  • Pro-active knowledge and skill transfer within teams. (Quality Control and wider customer/supplier)
  • Implementation of Quality Tools and Techniques across Programme through continuous improvement.
  • Support Quality Investigation/internal audit / process confirmation within the Naval Ships Programmes.
  • Liaison with third party auditors such as Lloyds Register and customer.
  • Support the Zero Defect Culture/Right First time into Supply Chain.
  • Strong team working and positive professional conduct at all times.
  • Demonstrate and inspire core business behaviours at all times.Ensure total adherence to Responsible Document Management (RDM) regulations within the department ensuring data integrityDevelop data management and toolsets used within the quality control department along with reporting out puts and the capturing of process updates, records and risk assessments.
