Overtime is paid at £9.63 per hour.  £8.21 per hour - 25 years old and over. Overtime is paid at: £10.26 per hour. The Role

To act as the lead educational advisor and practitioner in a multi-professional team which supports the needs of children, young people and their families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities through Education Health and Care Plans.
To undertake assessment, planning and review activities associated with an Education Health and Care Plan for children with complex and multiple learning needs.
To provide advice to other professionals within and outside the team on the educational needs of and provision for children and young people with SEND.
To take the lead role on moderation panels, complex needs panel, multi-agency meetings, and tribunals.
To liaise with local schools and clusters of schools on SEND matters.
To contribute to the development of the SEND team in an area and the improvement of services for children, young people and their families.Requirements

Appropriate professional qualification, DfE recognised teaching qualification.
Significant experience working in the field of Special Educational Needs either in early years, schools, further education or local authority settings.
Experience and ability to work in challenging partnership environments.
