The role

The Head of ERP Products will create an implementation plan for the ERP Product Group (SAP Centre of Excellence) including recruitment of the team, and then lead and drive all activities through to completion. Once the group is set up, the role holder will also be responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance and development of the SAP and other ERP products, directing the work of functional analysts, developers, testers and technical specialists.

Who you are

  • You will have strong experience of working within a SAP environment

  • You will have experience leading a team through support, maintenance and development of IT products delivering an effective service using SAP and other related products

  • You will have strong experience developing and maintaining effective relationships internally and externally

  • You will have experience working with SAP software within a complex organisation structure

Who you'll be

    • You will establish the optimal structure of the optimal structure of the group, including team structures, leadership and recruitment/development, to ensure successful delivery of the SAP product suite

  • Define the delivery approach, including people, processes and technology, creating a culture of continuous improvement and delivery.

  • Lead the support, maintenance and development ERP product portfolio, ensuring that appropriate governance and controls are in place to ensure successful transition from the CSR programme into delivery in line with stakeholder expectations.

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the multi-disciplinary teams involved with the delivery of the ERP product set, including overseeing the management of virtual teams not based on site and in different time zones.

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts. You will be nurturing them, whilst cross selling in order to gain additional revenue.

This role would suit a motivated individual from an account management or client coordinator background within knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry who is wanting to progress their career within a well-established organisation.

THE ROLE:

  • As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing several key accounts
  • Building strong relationships with your regular clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross sell additional products
  • Service existing customer orders
  • Maintain and update the CRM database with customer account information
  • Ensure the timely follow up of all customer fulfilment issues
  • Take a proactive approach when searching for new revenue streams for the business
  • Monitor competitor products or services
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with internal departments, providing support to the Sales Support team
  • Completing administrative duties

THE PERSON:

  • At least 2 years' experience within an account management or client coordinator role is essential
  • A Levels minimum in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Experience within the packaging, pharmaceutical, healthcare, automotive, aviation or chemical industry but not essential
  • The ability to speak other languages would be highly beneficial due to the international client base
  • Ability to offer a consultative approach when speaking with customers
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate over the phone in an engaging manner
  • Computer literate
