I am delighted to be working with an outstanding secondary special school in Salford, who are looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to start on 10/05/21 or ASAP on a full time and long term basis with the potential to turn permanent for the right person. Pay up to £75/day.

To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
  • Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.

You will be required to support a pupil in Year 10 with Autism and Complex Needs on a 1:1 basis as well as other pupils in the class from time to time. The pupil is working at primary level and can also display challenging behaviour as a result of sensory triggers and anxiety as well as frustrations with understanding social situations and work. as their new SEN Teaching Assistant it will be your role to notice these and help the young person get to a point where they can successfully self-regulate in most scenarios. This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference to this young person's ability to engage with the world around them and improve their quality of life.

The school has high expectations on what each pupil can achieve in terms of personal development and learning progress so you will also be required to support the class teacher with implementing any activities and lessons. Ideally you will have some prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant although people from other backgrounds such as mainstream school roles or care will also be considered.

I am currently working with a Google Partner based in Manchester City Centre that are still looking to hire TWO Senior Java Developers. These two Senior Java Developer roles are to join the current product team of 55, of which 22 are developers, to work on Cloud technology products using APIs, Kubernetes and AWS / Azure and GCP. Since this company's inception in 2016, they have grown over 50% year on year and impressively not ONE developer is yet to leave the business!

You will have a strong natural knowledge of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, clean code and processes such as TDD/BDD. You will be a true engineering approach developer who system to system experience and very familar with APIs. Naturally a strong background with Java and core open source technologies and frameworks is essential along with a history of building scalable and resilient software applications.

Applicants for the Senior Java Developer role will ideally possess strong skills within:
