We are currently looking for a Stakeholder & Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for the collation and reports production relating to the quality assurance and performance of the programme and to act as Deputy Programme Manager.

Further to this, you'll also be responsible for promotions and community engagement activities to ensure good coverage, increase uptake and participation with an emphasis on hard to reach groups.

Key Duties:

  • Collate and produce reports on the performance, audit and Internal Quality Assurance aspects of the programme including Service Quality Standards, Key Performance Indicators and Contractual Performance/Activity reports
  • Assist the Programme Manager in the completion and dissemination of the screening and grading schedule including the staff rota
  • To draft and advise on the co-production, development and revision of the programme's Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Strategy and plan ensuring it is effectively implemented
  • To implement, co-ordinate and arrange the professional and patient engagement structures/forums required to support effective engagement in the programme
  • Design, develop and implement appropriate consultation activities specific too hard to reach groups, including using workshops and focus groups, with key stakeholders on specific issues, proposed service changes and improvements that will gather intelligence and insight, which will help ensure the service meets the individual and group needs of the Programme's diverse population

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Educated to A level or equivalent Qualifications and or training/experience of Management, Marketing and/or Public Communication
  • Experience of working within Community Engagement/ development functions
  • Partnership development
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Supervision of junior staff
  • Presentation and excellent communication skills
  • Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Diploma would be desirable

  • Acting as the main point of contact on all quality matters internally and externally.
  • Coordinating MHRA Inspections, Home Office Inspections and Self-Inspections.
  • Managing and maintaining MHRA licences and Home Office Licences including variations.
  • Maintaining and improving departmental operational performance to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal and external customer with respect to quality.
  • Scheduling and managing training, self-inspections, planned maintenance, planned housekeeping and external audits.

  • Managing all validation activities.
  • Carrying out the duties of the Responsible Person.

The Person:-
