The Role:

The Compliance Director role is a field based, national role. Reporting to the Chairman and Chief Executive of The Board, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that regulatory and contractual standards are being met across the organisation and that branches are striving to deliver outstanding care.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

  • Providing an independent oversight of the individual branches compliance against KLOE's, local authority, CCG specifications and the companies own expectations
  • Assisting the operational management to consistently deliver high quality care
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are updated and robust
  • Overseeing your teams auditing through quality assurance visits
  • Reviewing reports of accidents, incidents and near misses and work with the HR & training teams to ensure any appropriate actions are taken to minimise risk of reoccurrence

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Compliance Director role will have relevant experience of the social care sector.

You'll also need experience of leading compliance, quality assurance and service development.

Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of meeting all regulatory and statutory requirements, including CQC, health & safety and local authority requirements.

In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:

  • A degree level qualification in a related field: health & social care, social work, nursing, etc
  • Good knowledge of CQC, health & social care act, DOLs and mental capacity act
  • Experience of working within a similar role, potentially within a regulator, commissioner or a similar domiciliary organisation

You'll also need to be passionate about continuous improvement and be meticulous person with a strong eye for detail.
