The role will see through the whole payroll process from start to finish. Your duties will include: * Processing of a weekly contractor payroll, including setting up new contractors with our merit payroll system and issuing P45s to leavers * Chasing up and inputting contractor timesheets onto Merit (600 + timesheets within the team) * Chase up contractor invoices and match them to payments on the Merit system. * Ensuring any queries from contractors or umbrella companies are dealt with in a timely fashion. * Liaising with credit Control to ensure all new client details are checked and set up in Sage and Merit. * Daily communication with the sales consultants * Sending FPS/EPS to HMRC * Processing auto enrolment pensions through payroll and uploading pension file or manually entering figures in to pension portal and processing payment * Liaising with Merit Payroll Software with any technical issue.
