With engaging stories to tell, there's always something to share with our visitors, and it will be your job to make sure we're doing that all year round.

This role will start March 2020.

What it's like to work here

National Trust Oxburgh Hall is a stunning, moated, brick-built Elizabethan house set in the Norfolk countryside. Built by, and still home to, the Bedingfeld family, the house shows a tapestry of change in its architecture but for nearly 500 years has endured determinedly through recusancy, civil war, fire, Zeppelin raids and recently the collapse of a dormer window. Oxburgh is the largest property in the Oxburgh and Peckover portfolio which also includes Peckover House and Gardens in Wisbech, St Georges Guildhall in Kings Lynn and land at Swanton Morley.

It's an exciting time to join the team at Oxburgh Hall. We've just started a £6m project - 'Raise the Roof' - to repair all the dormer windows as well as the roof itself.

What you'll be doing

Working with our spirit of place you'll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.

You'll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property.

Please also read the full role profile and recruitment brochure for more information about the role.

Who we're looking for
