The dedicated high-tech serviced facility offers a new and bespoke service to industry for design, testing, diagnostic, prototyping and manufacturing. Working with the Business Manager you will build and maintain research, business and industry links and activity aligned with the University’s space and earth observation and engineering expertise. In addition, you will assist the Academic leads, Business Manager and Project team to deliver the business plan, supporting qualifying SME’s and industry to become more innovative and as a result launch new products, services or new processes. About you With a good undergraduate degree in engineering electronic design or physical sciences, you will have competence in electronic design techniques for prototyping and manufacturing alongside extensive knowledge of electrical design tools and software used to deliver commercial and technical electrical designs and solutions. As a self-starter with a keen eye for detail, you will have the ability to analyse and interpret complex data, giving your expert opinion to STAR clients and other team members.
