Our client are a medium sized engineering firm who are investing in the site and machines and require a cnc mill/turn machinist to join the team. Candidates need to be time served for the role and be able to programme from scratch in fanuc. You must have experience on mill turn machines or have experience of turning and milling. You will also be comfortable with exotic materials and some basic knowledge of lean tecchniques. The are 2 shifts available which pays £17.50 and nights is around £19.40. There is some overtime available but not mass amounts. Purpose of Job The main purpose of the Engineer / Project Manager role is to plan, co-ordinate and carry out assessments of construction products and systems. To be considered for this role you must have the following:- -Beng/Meng Civil Structural Engineering -Building regulations and relevant standards - 2+ years Structural design experience in the UK such as design in timber, steel, concrete, masonry. -Ideally some Project Management experience on the projects you have worked on The role would suit a civil/facade/structural engineer who wanted to step away from working on day to day designs and wanted to utilise there technical skills by making the transition to a technical Project Manager role withn construction products (cladding/insulation/timber) and systems
