Business Analysis as a Service (BAaaS) is a solution for planning, managing and deploying the right people skills, at the right time, on the right projects.

From a single Business Analyst for a few days, right through to a large team of fully utilised project professionals Stoneseed provide a range of project resources from PMs, to BAs and Virtual PMO.

The Role

Typically, our Business Analysts have one to three projects for one or two clients. We look to bring on board independent Business Analysts that can work on projects client side, and manage as they see fit. BA'swho are happy liaising from the boardroom to the shop floor and experts in dispute resolution.

A varied role, which changes form client to client - and could include;-

• Maintaining and creating process flow diagrams, business requirements, project documentation
• Requirements gathering, "As is" and "To Be"
• Undertake process and functional efficiency reviews and provides recommendations for improvement
• Working within an Agile environments
• Define and manage business and systems requirements
• Define original scope, and manage subsequent changes to scope and ensure correct level of challenge to the business's requirements
• Produce progress reports
• Undertake review (health-check) and process reviews
• Support the design, test and implementation of new processes and systems requirements
• Running one to one client interviews and workshops
• Familiar with Techniques such as Agile, Lean, SDLC, Kanban

The Role of Project Manager

• Client Facing Infrastructure and Application Projects
• All aspects of Project Management; accountability for project delivery such as planning, scheduling, coordinating, managing all the aspects of the project
• IT infrastructure projects and Agile development software projects
• Definition, scoping and planning of multi-disciplinary projects
• Using either waterfall, Agile or a combination of both

Essentials for the role of Project Manager

• Proven track record of project planning; producing the project plan or sprint planning
• Exceptionally results driven and self-motivated individual as this is an autonomous and demanding role
• Managing and working with project resources to delivery projects
• Building key client relationships and managing stakeholders
• Educated to Degree level or relevant IT experience
• Benefits tracking to ensure the benefits are realised and the project is successful
• Change management through-out the project life-cycle for all changes and daily scrums if appropriate
• Financial management, of all related project expenditure, hardware, software, capital and op-ex

  • Knowledge of IT digital technologies and platforms to assist project delivery; web front-end, JavaScript, Java, Big Data, Microsoft, data centers and networks
