To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A background in white goods repairs would act as a huge advantage to your application (e.g. washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, fridges, hobs, ovens, extractor fans etc) however experience in another electro-mechanical field service role would be considered (e.g. coffee, vending, ticket machines, parking, vehicle maintenance etc).
  • Ideally have electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 224 Consumer Electrical and Electronic Servicing, City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installation, 17th Edition etc)
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent customer service skills - able to handle a variety of customers.

Role Overview

This role reports directly into the DPM Supervisor and is responsible for the formulation of products based on the manufacturing schedule, in compliance with Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Environmental and Company policies. You will operate on a 3 week rotating shift pattern that includes both day & night shifts, along with working 1 in every 3 Sundays are part your rotation. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the formulation rooms and equipment are clean and audit-ready. Completing all documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices. Using SAP for the formulation of the raw materials required for both Dry Powder Media and Liquid Media manufacturing, documenting on electronic batch records. Cleaning and preparing Intermediate Bulk Containers, super sacks, equipment, glassware and the formulation areas in preparation for batch formation. Operating automated filling equipment used to fill DPM. All candidates must have at least a HND/HNC in Biological or Chemical Science (or other appropriate discipline) and ideally some relevant manufacturing experience. It would be desirable for you to be degree educated and have exposure of working to Good Manufacturing Practices
