We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated person who can inspire hope and bring about real and lasting change in our clients' lives. You will be joining a team dedicated to providing clients with a safe environment in which to build their confidence, promoting opportunities for positive change.
As the post-holder, you will be working with our housing management team, sharing responsibility for providing tasty and nutritious cooked meals for our clients, helping them to develop their cooking/ life skills and additionally undertaking daily cleaning and health & safety tasks.
Ideally, you'll have experience of working with vulnerable people or an understanding of the needs of street homeless people. However, what's more important is you are passionate about food, have a flexible, creative and enjoy working with others.
- Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths
- Enhanced DBS
- Good communication skills and an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable people.
- Flexibility is required, as you'll be working a shift rota that includes weekends and public holidays.
