Our client is a privately owned company focused on the student, build to rent, hotel and commercial sectors in London and across the the United Kingdom. They have over £1bn of AUM.
They are currently looking for an Investment Director to source a pipeline of transactions with future development potential, analysing investment proposals, make recommendations to the Group's Board and managing exit strategies.
In addition, working alongside colleagues, the successful candidate will manage a pipeline of development assets from conception of a planning and development brief to successful exit. The candidate will take full ownership of the business plan for these assets through the life cycle of the investment.
The business is growing rapidly and has the ability to treat each opportunity individually and flexibly in order to secure the best return.
To be successful in this exciting new role, the following skills, experience and qualifications will be required:
Educated to a degree level, ideally in a real estate subject. Additional investment qualifications are advantageous.
MRICS is not essential but preferred.
At least 10 years real estate, investment-related experience including transactional, planning and development experience.
Excellent valuation knowledge especially for operational real estate asset classes.
Exposure to disinvestment of alternative sector assets, with experience of Joint Venture, forward funding, forward commitment and agreement for lease structures
